Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Play and download counts. When you play or download a sound we record the event against a one-way hash of your IP address that changes daily, used only to avoid counting the same visitor twice. We never store raw IP addresses with sounds.
• Uploads. The file, title, tags, description and the optional name you enter are stored and, once approved, shown publicly. A daily-rotating hash of your IP address is stored with the upload for abuse prevention.
• Reports. The reason and details you submit, plus the same IP hash.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes request metadata (IP address, user agent, URL) to serve and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent dialog before any personalised ads load. Cloudflare Turnstile is used on the upload form to block bots; it sets a functional cookie.

We do not use analytics cookies of our own and we do not sell personal data.

Your rights

To have an upload, report or any personal data removed, email hello@viralmemesfx.com. Uploaders can request deletion of their sounds at any time.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
