Using the site

ViralMemesFX is free to use for playing, downloading and sharing short sound clips. Don't scrape the site, hammer the API, or attempt to bypass rate limits or moderation.

Uploading

• Only upload sounds you created, that are in the public domain, that are licensed for redistribution, or that are short excerpts used in a way you believe is fair use. You are responsible for what you upload.
• By uploading you grant ViralMemesFX a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, stream, and let visitors download the clip, and to display the title, tags and name you provided.
• No hateful, sexual, harassing or illegal content, no personal information about others, no malware, no spam. Uploads are reviewed and can be rejected or removed at any time without notice.
• Repeat infringers are blocked from uploading.

Downloads

Downloaded sounds are provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use unless the underlying licence allows more. Rights in the sounds remain with their owners.

Copyright

We respond to takedown notices as described in the DMCA / Copyright policy.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, ViralMemesFX is not liable for any damages arising from use of the site.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
